From the City to the Mountains

Born in the mountains, Lamont Merino grew from a simple desire to wear clothing from natural fibres. Since moving to Thredbo from Melbourne after a redundancy due to the GFC, I’ve been quietly building something from a love of nature and the mountains. Photography, lightboxes, a magazine, a tiny house and now a clothing label made for and from this landscape. Every garment is 100% merino wool, made by hand here in the Snowy Mountains. Garments that are as comfortable in the city streets as they are on a mountain range. Wear them skiing, hiking, riding, or everyday living. Whatever the day looks like, Lamont Merino moves and breathes with you.
